General FAQ’s

We are targeting to open by mid-2021.

Courses and programs to be offered at LCTT have not been finalized. We continue to collect feedback and analyze these items, which will determine the schedule and cost of attendance.

Enrollments are determined by the type(s) of courses and programs offered, and once the courses and programs are determined, we will provide enrollment guidelines.

We are still finalizing the specific requirements. However, for reference, below are common requirements for our career programs:

  • Be at least 18 years of age by the start date of the term
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible to obtain a Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL)
  • Be physically and mentally fit to participate (official Medical Release form provided during enrollment process)
  • Provide proof of medical insurance coverage for the duration of the program
  • Not have a felony conviction on your record
  • Weigh no more than 270 pounds

Yes. You can apply for our career programs at our Edgewater, Florida, campus or at any of our campuses located across the U.S.

Yes. Applicants who have successfully completed an accredited career program and have a CDL will be very competitive.

Yes, having a foundational understanding of how electricity behaves and how to respect it contributes to success in the program.

The Utility Line Worker Program is 13 weeks long. Other courses and programs vary in length and are dependent on the individual’s experience level.
